As we draw closer to COP26, the Jesuit Missions Growing Our Future campaign continues with our Be BOLD petition.
We would love you and the members your parish or university chaplaincy to sign our petition urging Prime Minister, Boris Johnson to take bold action against climate change.
We are asking him to:
- Lead global action on reducing carbon emissions to ensure all countries commit to taking the action needed to limit global warming
- Stop funding the fossil fuel industry. No subsidies. No new oil and gas ventures
- Work with world leaders to meet your commitment in providing countries on the frontline of the climate crisis with $100 billion each year in climate finance
How to get involved?
We will send you petition cards that can be shared with members of your parish. These should be with you by the end of this week.
For those of you in parishes this could be done following Mass one Sunday, and then these can be collected. Return them to us at Jesuit Missions,
11 Edge Hill, Wimbledon, London SW19 4LR, no later than Monday 18th October.
