Lent Campaign 2024: ‘Mission to Hope’
Happy Ash Wednesday, a date which marks the start of our latest Lenten campaign!
This year, our campaign is entitled ‘Mission to Hope’ and it shines a spotlight on the various overseas projects we support – from ecological training programmes in Madagascar to drug rehabilitation centres in India.
Head to our website to read personal testimonies from those who work on and benefit from the projects we back – and keep an eye on our social media platforms for a featured profile each week during Lent.
You can also contribute to our ‘Virtual Prayer Board’, where you can send in prayers for JM staff here in the UK and our partners across the globe.
And a date for your diaries: Tuesday 19 March. We’ll be hosting an Online Prayer Vigil in collaboration with the Ignatian Spirituality Centre – join us for readings, music and reflection!
Click here for more information and to sign-up for regular updates on the campaign.
Have a wonderful, peaceful and blessed Lent!
Our Partners & Us
We’re featuring a series of our international partners – as well as our very own International Programmes Officer Laura Angarita Romero – this Lent.
Visit this link to read about how they work with JM to help improve the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
Virtual Prayer Board
We’ve created a Virtual Prayer Board that allows you to send in your hopes and prayers to those we work with around the world.
Simply head here, fill in the form and we’ll pin it to the board for them to see!
Online Prayer Vigil
On Tuesday 19 March (the Feast of St Joseph), we’ll be hosting an Online Prayer Vigil alongside our friends at the Ignatian Spirituality Network in Glasgow.
You can expect readings, prayers (in a variety of languages), music from Jesuit schools and a special blessing from our partners in Madurai, India.
It will be available on our YouTube channel from 9am – please do join us!
