On one of the warmest days of the year, so far, the Legion of Mary at St Anselm’s gathered with other parishioners, in the church, to celebrate Mother Mary’s birthday.
This celebration also coincided with the first Centenary celebrations of the founding of the Legion by Irishman, Frank Duff.
Members of the Legion recited the Rosary after the celebration of Mass and then watched a short documentary about Frank Duff, its Founder. Father Gerard, the former Parish Priest and Spiritual Director for the Parish Legion sent a message and a blessing which were gladly received by all.
