YOU are invited …
Please join us on Tuesday May 27 2025, at 6.30 pm (More details in the Parish Newsletter), for our Parish meeting. It will be an opportunity to come together as a Parish and reflect on how we can be a Parish in which we accompany others, consider what it means to be ‘A Pilgrim of Hope’, in this Jubilee Year, and develop as a Synodal Parish, taking Christ to others, in our daily lives.
Accompanying others does not mean that we have all the answers. It is about sharing HOPE with everyone, helping us realise that God and the Holy Spirit are active in our lives all the time, giving HOPE a meaning, and drawing us all closer to God.
Following the Meeting in May at St Anselm’s, there will be a meeting for the London Jesuit Parishes on September 27 2025. It will be in preparation for the British Jesuit Parishes Conference, which takes place every three years, in November 2025.
Details of this Conference will be available nearer the time. It will enable us to meet other people in the Jesuit Family, who, like ourselves are part of a Jesuit Parish. It will allow us to explore the theme of accompaniment and how we can support each other in becoming ‘A Church that accompanies all people’ [Pope Francis, 2013]
If YOU would like to attend the Conference, please speak to Fr. Peter or a member of the Parish Team at St Anselm’s
