Now that the church is open for Mass and gatherings, we are able to plan the celebration of First Holy Communion here at St. Anselm’s Church. And because of the current COVID19 crisis we would like to have a simple approach focusing on the family and making it a family celebration.
2020 First Holy Communion Class is divided into 2 Groups of 49 Children and their catechists.
Group 1 Classes will be held on Wednesday 12 August 2020 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Wednesday 19 August 2020 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Group 2 Classes will be held on Thursday 13 August 2020 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Thursday 20 August 2020 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Please note once a group is full with 49 children the list will close.
We recommend that children wear face coverings for the classes in the church. Children must arrive at the church at least 20 minutes before the class starts. Classes will start at 5 p.m. sharp when the doors of the church will be locked and latecomers will not be able to enter.
